Oliver came to us with an interesting story. Due to a death in the breeders family he was turned out with a herd and allowed to live almost as a wild horse. Due to the situation he was started under saddle late in life and needed some additional time with humans to adjust to living in "Humansville". This is when we met Oliver, he has a light start under saddle and was ready to learn to trust and be lead by the rider.

He arrived at the farm in 2017 and spent his first year learning about all the variety living with humans and at a training barn can entail. He has become confident with cows, roping, small jumps, and is most recently showing his physical aptitude for driving a cart. He loves playing at liberty and connecting to his human. Oliver is curious by nature and excels in a learning environment.

Oliver enjoys his time with Maddy, a long term student while they both learn about herd work, roping and cattle.

Oliver is a charismatic pony that could excel in a vast arena of disciplines. He bonds quickly with the human, is confident away from the herd of other horses and is eager to learn new things.
